Our Parish

iiiiiHoly Resurrection Orthodox Mission Seeks to serve the Orthodox community and neighbors of the
iiiiiTri-Cities area.  Our parish is wonderfully diverse with Christians from various Patriarchates and converts
iiiiifrom many Christian denominations including Baptist, Roman Catholic, Episcopal, and Church of Christ.

iiiiiLocated in Johnson City, Tennessee, we are an English speaking Mission founded by the Antiochian
iiiiiArchdiocese of North America, overseen by his Eminence, the Most Reverend Metropolitan PHILIP and
iiiiithe Right Reverend ANTOUN, the Bishop for the Miami Diocese and the Southeast.  Father Michael
iiiiiKeiser is our Priest-In-Charge, with Neal Hughes serving the Mission as Deacon.

iiiiiOur Mission received her official charter from the Antiochian Archdiocese of North America in 1996.

iiiiiAlthough Holy Resurrection is fairly new to Johnson City, our heritage is rich and our beginnings can be
iiiiitraced directly to the Church in Asia Minor at Antioch, where we were first called Christians.
iiiiiEstablished by the Apostles Peter and Paul and continuing in an unbroken chain to the present day,
iiiiithe Mission is the result of Christ's work in spreading the Gospel worldwide.  Tied to this "Great Cloud"
iiiiif witnesses, the Saints of the Church, our Mission represents the fullness of the Orthodox Christian
iiiiiFaith and Practice.

iiiiiWe invite all who are interested in the Historic Church to visit us and "come and see."  Find out how
